Feeding San Diego I've been very fortunate enough to have two amazing parents that raised me along with my six other brothers (yeah, there were 7 boys). We did hit a rough patch during my gromhood life when my dad was out of work for a bit and we had to get on welfare. Later in life, I realized that food stamps, blocks of orange cheese, powdered milk, and other free food from the government weren't the norm. Luckily and proudly, my father was able to get a solid job and became a well-known and sought-after machine operator here in San Diego county. He got our family back on track and was able to provide for the family once again. I'm now lucky enough to give back to an organization that helps single mothers, fathers, and families in their time of need. Just like the government did for our family. With each tour booking, I will donate a percentage of the amount received and donate that to Feeding San Diego at the end of each month. It's not a lot but it's a start. I thank you for allowing me to do this. You are helping just as much as I am. Thank you.

Marbella Surfboards were the boards that everyone wanted and rode back in the 90's here in Southern California. Paulo Cabral was pumping out sick boards for the crew like hotcakes. As life should have it, the new chapter in life sent him to South America. Paulo changed his life but he didn't stop shaping. Marbella slowly faded into the shadows here in San Diego.

Fast forward to today... his son Felipe was getting hit up by those loyal to Marbella and asked if there was any way to have Paulo send some boards from his shaping facilities in Chile and Brazil. It was a risky move but Felipe and Paulo worked the numbers and started taking custom orders from the old-school crew. Now, he's taking orders for their 4th shipment of boards to San Diego! Needless to say, Marbella is back and isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

If you're looking for a sick new board (custom or stock), hit up Felipe on the Marbella Surfboards Insta. Be sure to mention MANNYV20 to get a hook up:

Kaiola surf hats were introduced to me by Rob over at One More Wave. He said he had his for two years and loved it. So I ordered one up and yup... I love mine too. Barbara did her homework and is producing the perfect surf hat. Minimal straps makes it feel like the hat isn't even strapped in. I love that part. I'm around the water daily so I have been putting my hat through the ringer. It's smashed into my wetsuit bag, tossed around and even left out in the sun and ... it's still solid.

If you're looking for your next surf hat, this is it. Use this code to get the EPIC hookup: EPICKAIOLA10

Live Sunny Sunscreen The best thing to happen to my eyes. This sunscreen does not get into my eyes and make me go blind while surfing! Plus, Maddie put the time in to ensure that her product is reef safe, chemical free, cruelty free, vegan and smells good, in my opinion. If you're looking for a legit sunscreen that works, click the link below and order up.

OneMoreWave are badass. This non-profit was formed with one thing in mind. Get and keep people in the water. Not just anyone. They build awesome fully custom wave riding crafts for wounded and disabled veterans. For many, this is the turning point to a new chapter in life. And to me that's what it's all about.
