Like all Epic Surf Trips, it's always about Respect, Safety, finding Empty waves, and having as much Fun as possible. Here's your opportunity to experience something very rejuvenating. 

San Diego is full of history. On your way out of San Diego Bay and towards the surf, I'll point out many of the amazing sights & facts about "America's Finest City." From the local Kumeyaay nation to the current military presence, San Diego is full of noteworthy history.

Respecting the surfers that have been going to these sacred waves for decades, you will be briefed on surfing etiquette, safety and respect.

On the way out to the sacred breaks, you will be briefed on the breaks and more importantly, respect. Respecting the locals, the reefs, and Mother Nature is just shy of our priority… SAFETY. When the waves are pumping, we could expect a crowd out there. On the other hand, we could end up being the only ones in the lineup. Your best option for empty waves will be midweek.

Once you’re confirmed, you'll be sent an Epic Boat Trip info sheet with details on what to bring and what to expect. This trip is four and a half hours from beginning to end. No need for a suitcase. Simply show up ready to surf.

Manny's local knowledge and experience makes him a phenomenal host. It felt like a mini tour of the stunning bay as we voyaged out to the breaks. The group size was perfect and we felt privelaged to have a break all to ourselves.

We are so happy we did this Epic Boat Trip! We all grew up in San Diego but we had never seen this side of it and we were stoked to check it out! Manny is the best boat captain you could hope for! Not only is he a surfer who embodies the aloha spirit but he's a knowledgeable local as well! It doesn't get any better than this! Whether you're brand new to the area or an old native like me, you're going to love seeing the surf from this new angle! We can't wait to do another trip with Manny!

Empty waves, super safe guiding, and a glorious morning at sea, what more could we ask for? As always, the most amazing surf day with Captain Manny. His local knowledge is unbeatable and his love for surfing and the water are so evident. Thank you for another epic boat trip and helping us to find a spot all to ourselves. Fun Friday

Have done two boat trips so far with Manny on two different breaks now. It is really just a very fun adventure that is enjoyable just as a trip itself, even outside of the surfing aspect! It is a great way overall to get out to some empty lineups that provide really unique views we don't typically have at most local breaks, and the before/after surfing cruising around the bay is just an overall great time. It's really hard to not be in a super happy mood after a morning out in the water on the epic boat!

If you’re considering the Epic Boat Trip, you HAVE to do it. Manny takes the group to spots you can only reach by boat, immersed deep in the historic naval territory of Coronado. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the history; we saw submarines docking, unique naval aircraft flying through, all kinds of boats, and more. The waves are killer and relatively empty. Manny provides info on all the breaks to keep us safe. I’ll definitely be booking another!

I have been on quite a few surf boat tours over the years and this was by far the most professional and fun one! Manny is great - every little detail is very well thought out. From the "pep talk" on the boat on the way to the break to the sandwiches and snacks on the way home - you can tell he has been doing this for a long time and that he works very hard to make sure his guests have a great experience.

We truly had an epic day! Manny is a perfect guide; he's super mellow, friendly and is extremely knowledgeable about the surf breaks. He took us to the perfect spots, told us what to line up with on the shore and cheered us on when we got a good one. On the way out to the breaks, he preps you about safety and he also gives a little run-down on the different boats and things you see in the harbor, which I thought was cool to hear about. He makes the whole experience from start to finish, worry-free.

Still stoked from my boat session with Manny. As always, his surf trips leave me with a big smile on my face. He prepped you prior to the trip by sending a checklist to ensure you bring proper gear for the boat ride. It was easy to get everything on the boat and get going. Manny made me feel safe in the water and made sure to go over safety protocols prior to leaving the dock. He also went into full details with a booklet on the boat on the surf breaks to ensure you feel comfortable in the water. After the session, Manny had fun jams going and cold sandwiches and beverages. It was such an all-around epic experience for me. I knew that I was 100% safe with Manny on his boat. Thank you Manny for such a fun day! Can’t wait for the next boat adventure!
