Epic Boat Tour
Excellent Trip! If you always wanted to surf Baja but don't know where to start, this would be the way to go. Manny knows his stuff on water and on land. He knows his way around and knows the great local spots. Safety was never a concern. It was more like renting a beach house with friends, very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. I definitely plan to make it a regular thing.
Manny is extremely knowledgeable with trip-planning in Baja and was such a great tour guide. The Baja House is situated at an ideal spot for a weekend getaway, we had so much fun - surf, eat, drink on repeat.

I feel so lucky to have found Manny and participated in his surf camp. No matter what level, you will leave this trip a better surfer! You get the opportunity to focus on surfing because all the details of location, food, etc. are taken care of. The real value in this trip for me though was getting the overall experience of what it feels like to go on a surf trip with a group of friends. If you dream of a week that simply involves surfing an uncrowded break, eating fresh, delicious food, and relaxing, look no further. Manny is also connected to the local community which makes the trips to town fun and comfortable because you feel like the guest of a well-liked local. Manny looks out for everyone while in the water and gives lots of personal feedback. Bonus was his awesome photographer who traveled with us and offered a lot of feedback and support as well. Epic Boat Trip
Manny is the best! Picked a perfect tide and spot to surf and took boatloads of pictures to capture the FUN. The harbor tour after and all the history information he provided was an epic bonus also! Glad to finally meet you Manny and look forward to a Baja trip with you in our future. Mahalo :)
We did the morning San Diego surf tour and can't wait to go again! Surf was small but clean and we had the waves all to ourselves in a beautiful setting. Manny was very knowledgeable about the different breaks and it was cool to learn about the area. Manny had everything you need to be comfortable and safe during the trip. I can't believe I have lived in San Diego for a few years now without trying this! SO much fun!
Did the Baja weekender with Epic Surf Tours which was full of tasty food and tasty waves.
Manny is an expert surf guide. He knows Baja well and was able to find us fun, uncrowded breaks despite finicky weather, different abilities of the group, and it being a holiday weekend. Having Manny as your guide means you’re spending more time actually surfing and less time figuring out which spot to choose, where to paddle out, and where to sit. At the end of the day, reviewing Mannys drone footage on day 1 also helped me catch 10x more waves by day 3.
When we weren’t surfing, we were exploring the area and eating amazing food. Manny is a gem and every local we ran into seemed to adore him - probably because he’s so respectful and generous. Epic surf tours is an ethical and authentic surf vacation, where you can show up with your boards and let an expert plan the rest.

I had the chance to do the Epic Boat Trip in San Diego with Manny and it lives up to its name. After you get to the meetup point Manny takes care of everything else after. Super fun and would do it again.
I initially had reservations about traveling across the border for just the weekend and the time it might take for logistics and the border crossings. Manny is such a pro that he has everything absolutely nailed down. There were no issues whatsoever and the trip was incredible easy and extremely well planned out. Manny knows all of the local breaks and knows what will be working best for any given conditions. He also knows exactly where to go for supplies, the best restaurants to go to and how to navigate everything with ease. The place we stayed was right over a terrific break, had great views and worked very well for our party. He takes great videos and pics for all of the surf sessions. The only thing I would have wished for was bigger surf!
Our first time down Baja Norte with Epic Surf Tours and it'll be the first of many. Manny is the consummate host, tour guide, surf guru, you name it. Every detail is perefectly thought out and all you have to do is surf with your friends, relax, eat and enjoy getting away. The surf house is ideal. The food is amazing. I can speak for all of us Perros Jovenes when I say we can't wait to go back.
Manny is the best. He's a knowledgeable, ripping surfer. He makes such a fun, safe and positive surfing experience at the place you just have to go to, there's nothing like it. Manny is an amazing host, captain and human. I have heard about him and his trips for a while, my wife even went on a day trip earlier this year, and this time my wife and I got to go together and scored some super fun surf! The whole journey is epic - he's got it dialed - from booking to the boat ride to how he has curated all the details of the trip and experience, and he is really considerate and respectful of the local lineups. His professionalism and passion for stoking people out on having fun with surfing is authentic and appreciated and put a smile on everyone's face all day. I HIGHLY recommend booking an EPIC adventure with Manny!!
I seriously could not have asked for a better trip. This truly felt like an authentic Mexican surf experience. You're not at some fancy big surf school. You're not at some crowded public beach. You're in a private beach house overlooking your own secret surf spot. Manny was not only super chill and super welcoming, but he's been making this trip for years, and he knows the area and many of the locals from the surrounding communities. So you really feel like you're getting to experience a real slice of Mexico. I could write on and on about the trip, but I'll just end it by saying it was an experience I'll remember forever, and I definitely plan on doing it again. #DoEpicShit

Baja Single Day Surf Strike
Manny was the best tour guide anyone could ask for. Our group had an amazing time surfing, eating, and having fun... Manny took care of the rest. We stayed steps away from the surf break. The surf was amazing! And no crowds was a huge plus. The photos, videos, and drone footage turned out great as well. Already thinking of planning my next trip. Such a stoked time!!
Manny knows what he is doing! Our trip was seamless from start to finish and was so much fun. Manny has a way of keeping things moving while also not making anyone feel pressured on time and letting the group go with the flow. He knows Mexico - and the places he leads tours - like the back of his hand. We felt safe the whole time and had such a blast. I highly recommend doing a tour with Manny. It'll be one of the best trips of your life!

HIT Like a Girl Podcast Retreat
Manny was a terrific guide for our group: knowledgeable, capable, and kind. We were sitting at a restaurant by the sea and the breeze was a bit chilly. Manny quietly left the restaurant to go purchase several colorful Mexican blankets at a nearby market, which he gave to the ladies in our group to keep warm. Who does that? Manny. Also, he's just a cool guy to hang out with--he fit right in.

10/10 Experience. Manny is the best guide I ever had! He took us to all the best food places and more importantly he showed off his 40 years of surf knowledge. I had the best time chasing the swell in Baja with my homies and new friend Manny. Can’t wait to do it again!
