Manny is a true pro and keeps the stoke alive sharing his knowledge and artistic eye! He didn't miss a thing even with a group. Manny captured everything in the water frame by frame, which is so helpful for improvement and awareness. Can't wait to go on one of his trips.
Epic Surf Tours is the BEST!!! Manny is always fun to hang out with. He will pick a spot with awesome waves for your skill level, and if you're nervous about being at a spot that is new to you he will put your mind at ease. His photos and videos are AMAZING, and he makes sure to get photos and videos of everyone in the group. SUPER DUPER FUN!!! AND SUPER STOKE!!!!!!!!!
Having surfed for a little over a year, I'm still getting my feet wet in the waves, so I was excited to get a visual on what I'm doing wrong and what I'm doing right. Manny was super friendly and fun and managed to get tons of great shots of each of the four surfers in our San Diego Surf Ladies group. He delivered an epic number of photos and drone videos from the shoot, beautiful clear pictures and perfect short clips. The experience was a pleasure!

If you have ever wanted to have surf or video footage of your surfing, Manny is your guy! His photos are very high quality and capture your entire wave start to finish. He is so helpful in pointing out the best spot to be for less crowds and good waves. I also could not believe how quickly I received the photos and videos back (same day)! So many of us spend so much time in the water, yet have zero photos to capture our love of surfing. This is definitely worth it! I can't wait to go on one of his Baja trips next!

My family engaged Manny Vargas of Epic Surf Tours in the spring of 2021. He took us to good, uncrowded waves, where I got as many waves as I had the energy for! We toured in luxury in his black Suburban stacked with a selection of surfboards and filled with beach gear for the entire family. During our day-long tour of San Diego, he showed us great wildlife – seals and all kinds of seabirds – as we hiked along the beautiful Pacific Coast and took us to some of his favorite restaurants, where we enjoyed local burritos and an incredible seafood dinner. Because he is a lifelong resident of San Diego, he filled us in on the history of southern California and its surf beaches, which was interesting and enhanced our visit. He was organized, accommodating, and knowledgeable. In short, we had a great time and hope to join Manny on other adventures in Indonesia and the Baja, where he also leads surf tours. Highly recommended.

I had a photo session with Manny and it was so much fun. It was an hour of photography, 15 minutes with a drone, and some videos. This was my first time getting photographed while surfing and it was a really relaxed and fun atmosphere. Manny is great about giving you the run down on what to do when the drone comes out. I’m now even more stoked to improve my game. I have the video and photos to see what needs work AND some amazing ones to share.

I wanted to get a really special gift for a good friend and his family so asked Manny to take some surf shots and videos of my friend and his 2 kids. We were all blown away by the whole experience! Manny is such a fun, friendly person, he has an easy- going, confident vibe that really puts everyone at ease and allows them to relax and have a great time. Everyone loved hanging out with him! He is incredibly thorough and precise in his work, the quality of the water shots and videos were just amazing. He got all the footage back to us the same day and everyone was just thrilled to see what he was able to capture. In times of COVID, there is no better trip to take than to Baja and nobody better go with than Manny. He is fun, positive, attentive, hard working and will ensure you have a great time. The accommodations were outstanding, the food was excellent and we felt safe the entire time. Best of all, you get to surf with like minded people and make new great friends!
Manny, had a GREAT time. Love getting out in the harbor at Dawn. The Skipper was wonderful and knowledgeable. You have a way of getting everyone up for the waves and the whole experience. Would and will pass this on to the 'Crew' I surf with in North County. I will be back! Hope to do a Baja trip soon. Thank you for the fun times!

Ok, here it is plain and simple. I’ve now been on 8 trips and can’t wait to try some of the more exotic trips opening up. Need I say more?
This day trip was very targeted and precise. Manny knew where the best spots to surf were and we scored fun waves. We even hit a legendary spot that I've only heard of in stories from other surfers over the past 3 decades. The food was awesome, pictures & videos turned out great and overall, the experience was more than worth the time and money spent. I'd go again! Thanks for the great trip Manny!!

I highly recommend Manny's surf video coaching. He uses videos and pictures to provide you constructive feedback after fun surf sessions. Manny handles everything professionally and treats all his customers with the same amount of attention, regardless of your level of surfing. After taking lessons with other instructors and feeling like I was not getting anywhere new, I figured by just putting the time in I would progress on my own. Now with Manny's instruction, I see a huge difference between his method and other types of surf coaching. The combination of film and feedback are really vital to improvement and the best thing is Manny gives feedback in a way that is encouraging. He knows that progression is important to his customers but he also knows it is important to remember the joy surfing brings us.
