    Captain Manny V Safely Shows You The Epic Side Of Baja

    This was my first surf trip to Baja and Manny set the bars high for future trips! Manny's expertise of the surf breaks, best food spots and more made it a memorable experience. The accommodations that we were provided were amazing and would definitely stay there again! If you like to have waves all to yourself, eat delicious food, and have a personal photographer then this trip is for you. Can’t wait to go back! Thanks Manny!

    Of course loads of Americans cross the border into Mexico all year long to enjoy all of the amazing things our neighboring country has to offer: the gracious Mexican people, the stunning natural beauty, the surf breaks, the food!! It's truly a wonderland. But I'm here to tell you that experiencing the adventure with Manny as your guide takes it to the next level! A van full of surf ladies, escorted by our amiable host, set off on Friday afternoon for our Epic journey. We were late getting into Puerto Nuevo for our lobster dinner, but our night was saved by a quick phone call to the owner of Manny's favorite lobster spot. The restaurant had closed, but opened up for us. An incredible lobster feast was served, we ate until we almost burst, and were beyond thankful to the hosts and Manny both. This was our first glimpse into the magic of having him with us. His relationships with the locals, built on respect and gratitude, is the special sauce. We experienced it at every turn. At Hortencia's K38 burrito stand, Manny was greeted with hugs. At the surf spot... more hugs. At the guard gate at Gaviotas, not hugs since these are big burly men, but heartfelt greetings just the same. When we

    WOW, just wow. I went into the weekend with no expectations as I didn’t know what to expect but by Monday I was blown away (and exhausted ?) All weekend we were led by Manny to incredible surf, cuisine, hospitality and along the way he was anticipating every need. Manny was on top of anything and everything. We were brought to some incredible breathtaking surf spots with epic rights and soft beautiful waves. The food on this trip was outstanding and everywhere we went we felt and were treated so very welcomed and always left full. The accommodations are within walking distance of surf and a private beach. The house was big enough for everyone to enjoy and have their own private space.  I will be back, sooner than later!  Thank you for such a great weekend!

    Excellent Trip! If you always wanted to surf Baja but don't know where to start, this would be the way to go. Manny knows his stuff on water and on land. He knows his way around and knows the great local spots. Safety was never a concern. It was more like renting a beach house with friends, very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. I definitely plan to make it a regular thing.

    My group did the Baja Weekender and we all had a blast! Waves were great and uncrowded. Manny is a great surfer/photographer and had really helpful tips which I really appreciated. The food on the trip was awesome! And we got to see a lot of cool local spots. Manny knows the people and the area really well, so it all was really safe and easy. Stoked. We will definitely be doing another trip with Epic Surf Tours.

    10/10 Experience. Manny is the best guide I ever had! He took us to all the best food places and more importantly he showed off his 40 years of surf knowledge. I had the best time chasing the swell in Baja with my homies and new friend Manny. Can’t wait to do it again! I’m already planning my next trip with Manny… Also, Manny's knowledge of crossing the border was top-notch experience. It only took 45 minutes to cross instead of hours. Thanks again Manny!     I am so happy I went on the Baja Weekender. I expected it to be a lot of surfing and good times, and that's exactly what it was. All five of us, three of whom knew each other before we went, were talking in the car on our way to one of the breaks about how great the trip was, how it was so awesome to not have to figure out any of the logistics and get to completely concentrate on surfing hard, relaxing whenever we weren't in the water, and not worrying about anything. Manny is a great traveler and super easy to talk to and get along with. The entire time he pointed out things that were interesting along the road, we stopped at some delicious restaurants and also roadside stands (that I had always been too timid in my previous travels in the area to stop at). From pitaya sorbet to delicious burritos at the roadside stands, we were always getting to see parts of Baja from an experienced point of view. The photos and drone shots were great, and he gave us helpful insight on what to modify, from stance to paddling to where to look on the wave, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to book again, in fact, I'm already planning my next trip with epic surf tours.

    It was such a great weekend hanging out with Manny. Everything was well planned. We experienced EPIC surf and food. And the whole trip felt very safe going to Mexico. I highly recommend this for anyone who loves to surf and eat. Manny is such a great tour guide who is very accommodating to the group. 110% worth every penny.

From start to finish everything about the weekend felt super smooth, safe and easy. I feel like I just experienced a weeklong surf trip, hard to believe it was just the weekend.
