Did the Baja weekender with Epic Surf Tours which was full of tasty food and tasty waves. Manny is an expert surf guide. He knows Baja well and was able to find us fun, uncrowded breaks despite finicky weather, different abilities of the group, and it being a holiday weekend. Having Manny as your guide means you’re spending more time actually surfing and less time figuring out which spot to choose, where to paddle out, and where to sit. At the end of the day, reviewing Mannys drone footage on day 1 also helped me catch 10x more waves by day 3. When we weren’t surfing, we were exploring the area and eating amazing food. Manny is a gem and every local we ran into seemed to adore him - probably because he’s so respectful and generous. Epic surf tours is an ethical and authentic surf vacation, where you can show up with your boards and let an expert plan the rest.

I am so happy I went on the Baja Weekender. I expected it to be a lot of surfing and good times, and that's exactly what it was. All five of us, three of whom knew each other before we went, were talking in the car on our way to one of the breaks about how great the trip was, how it was so awesome to not have to figure out any of the logistics and get to completely concentrate on surfing hard, relaxing whenever we weren't in the water, and not worrying about anything. Manny is a great traveler and super easy to talk to and get along with. The entire time he pointed out things that were interesting along the road, we stopped at some delicious restaurants and also roadside stands (that I had always been too timid in my previous travels in the area to stop at). From pitaya sorbet to delicious burritos at the roadside stands, we were always getting to see parts of Baja from an experienced point of view. The photos and drone shots were great, and he gave us helpful insight on what to modify, from stance to paddling to where to look on the wave, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to book again, in fact, I'm already planning my next trip with epic surf tours.

This trip is exactly what I needed!! No stress, no worries, Manny's got you covered. All I did was surf and eat my brains out!!! Manny has this trip soo dialed in I didn't even have to look at a menu. "What's for lunch Manny?" Lol... His years of making connections with the locals, partnerships with restaurants and housing, and the length he goes to make sure you enjoy yourself are extremely impressive. Everyone knows him and treats us like kings and queens. He knows all the best surf spots and his photos and videos are awesome. The house is beautiful!!! Everything you can want. Pool, check, Jacuzzi, check, and soo much more. He's great at breaking the ice and making people on the trip who just met feel like old friends. As soon as I came home I started booking the next trip!!

Short but sweet! This trip is amazing. Manny really knows the ins and outs of the area, the break and the food! It was so rad getting to break down the surf video and review the break. This weekend gave me plenty to work on now that I'm home.

Baja Weekender - Surf Societe

This was my second trip to Baja with Manny and I had an amazing time! Epic Surf Tours is now, officially, above and beyond. I mean...not that the first trip wasn’t a blast (because it was), but with the new digs, new car, and new adventures, it’s now freakin EPIC! I love that it’s truly a surf trip and Manny makes sure that surf is the top priority. I was fed beyond well, surfed my brains out, and I never felt unsafe. Plus, you get like a Bazillion photos of yourself at the end. I can’t wait to go again!

From start to finish everything about the weekend felt super smooth, safe and easy. I feel like I just experienced a weeklong surf trip, hard to believe it was just the weekend. MANNY IS THE MAN!!!! I've gone on a couple Baja weekenders with him, and he has never disappointed! Great food, great waves, great company! If I had one criticism, it would be that the tacos were too good. I mean, you figure "OMG surfing all day, I'm going to come home soooo skinny!" Then 900 tortillas later, all that fit are sweatpants. Epic Surf Tours is by far one of the best surf tour companies I have gone to. I loved everything about this trip including the food, accommodations, and most importantly Manny who was amazing. Manny made sure everyone was comfortable and had everything we needed for this adventure. Manny has such a passion for his company and his love of the ocean that I highly recommend this trip. Manny was the best tour guide anyone could ask for. Our group had an amazing time surfing, eating, and having fun... Manny took care of the rest. We stayed steps away from the surf break. The surf was amazing! And no crowds was a huge plus. The photos, videos, and drone footage turned out great as well. Already thinking of planning my next trip. Such a stoked time!!

I initially had reservations about traveling across the border for just the weekend and the time it might take for logistics and the border crossings. Manny is such a pro that he has everything absolutely nailed down. There were no issues whatsoever and the trip was incredible easy and extremely well planned out. Manny knows all of the local breaks and knows what will be working best for any given conditions. He also knows exactly where to go for supplies, the best restaurants to go to and how to navigate everything with ease. The place we stayed was right over a terrific break, had great views and worked very well for our party. He takes great videos and pics for all of the surf sessions. The only thing I would have wished for was bigger surf!
